1. Who we are

EstateOS Technologies Limited is a company registered in Nigeria with offices at 14 Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. We provide property-management software to estate managers, developers, landlords and agencies.

This policy explains how we handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

2. Information we collect

Account information such as name, email address, phone number, company and role.

Records you enter into the platform, including property, unit, tenant, landlord, lease, payment and maintenance data.

Technical information such as device type, browser, IP address and usage logs.

3. How we use information

To provide, secure and improve the EstateOS platform.

To generate the reports, statements and receipts you request.

To send service notifications, reminders and support communications.

To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations in Nigeria.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of contract performance, legitimate business interest, your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with processors that help us run the service — hosting, payment and communications providers — under written agreements, and with authorities where the law requires it.

6. Data retention

We retain account and portfolio records for as long as your subscription is active and for the period afterwards required by Nigerian tax and company law. You may request deletion of data that we are not required to keep.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is role-based, logged and reviewed. We run regular backups and maintain an incident-response process.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to certain processing, and request a copy of your records in a portable format. Contact privacy@estateos.ng and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated to account administrators by email before they take effect.
